Middle Grade Math

Mathematics is critical at every level, but students are often more challenged in the middle grades. EOEP is working with Dr. Kim Yoak to bring a Learning Community to teachers and administrators in Mahoning and Trumbull Counties. Stay tuned as we move this initiative forward.

Families interested in supporting their student are encouraged to take advantage of online programs such as Kahn Academy. Kahn, and similar programs, or Apps, can help families start fun conversations about math.

To measure progress, our data will follow students’ growth beginning with the mathematics portion of the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (KRA).
